Welcome to Teatterihotelli Riihimäki’s unique Finnish glass miniature exhibition!
Carefully selected rarities from the remarkable private collection of Glass Artisan and Crystal Cutter Juha Juselius’, originally from Riihimäki, can be seen in a changing miniature exhibition. Naturally, pieces of Juha’s own production are also included.
Juha owns a comprehensive collection focusing on the crown jewel of Riihimäen Lasi Oy, i.e. hand polished lead crystal. In addition, he runs his own small-scale glass and crystal production in Riihimäki, and does other glass-related commissions. In Juselius’s family, the expertise in glassmaking has already been passed down to Juha in the fourth generation.
The exhibition is free of charge, but please note that access to the exhibition is blocked if there happens to be a private reservation in the exhibition space. In the summer season, access to the premises is usually excellent.
Come and admire the history of Finnish glass in Juha’s personally chosen specimens. You can buy a cup of coffee or another drink at the same time in the hotel’s cozy lobby bar.
