CHANGING OR CANCELLING A RESERVATION
You may change or cancel your room reservation free of charge no later than 6 p.m. (local time) one day prior to your arrival date. If the reservation is cancelled thereafter or the customer does not arrive, the hotel has the right to charge the customer for the first night of the reservation.
Should the reservation be cancelled or the value of the reservation change, prepayments are not returned. If you wish to change the dates of a prepaid reservation, please contact the hotel directly.
HOTEL ROOMS
All hotel room rates include buffet breakfast and use of the gym. Smoking is prohibited in all rooms of Teatterihotelli Riihimäki. A guest smoking in the hotel room will be charged a EUR 100 clean-up fee. The guests are responsible for their luggage unless it has been handed over to the hotel staff for storage. The hotel is not responsible for any damages to a vehicle located in the car park or property inside of such vehicle or loss thereof. Please always find out the location of the emergency exits, alarm buttons and fire extinguishers.
EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES – ACCIDENT OR ILLNESS
In the event of an accident or illness, the cancellation of the reservation should be notified to the hotel as soon as possible and an official medical certificate should be provided, in which case the customer will be charged EUR 35 per room for administrative expenses. The reservation shall be cancelled prior to the commencement of the accommodation. Refund requires that the hotel is provided with a medical certificate or other reliable proof within 14 days of the cancellation. Should the certificate or proof be provided thereafter, no refund will be made. No refund will be made in case of cancellation or interruption of accommodation during the accommodation. Please check your travel insurance cover for cancellation of a trip.
FORCE MAJEURE
In case of force majeure or an impediment beyond the control of Teatterihotelli Riihimäki, the hotel has the right to cancel the reservation. In such case, the customer has the right for a full refund of the reservation fee if the customer has paid it. If payments related to the reservation are not paid in time, Teatterihotelli Riihimäki has the right to cancel the reservation. The hotel has the right to transfer the reservation to another accommodation service of at least equally high quality for compelling reasons. The hotel shall compensate the customer for costs arising directly from the transfer. The Finnish act on hotel and restaurant business (laki majoitus- ja ravitsemistoiminnasta 2006/308) applies to hotel room reservations.
OTHER TERMS
We reserve the right to change our reservation and cancellation terms and conditions. The customer shall read the valid reservation and cancellation terms and conditions and accept them prior to making a reservation. Teatterihotelli Riihimäki processes all customer information in full confidence. Unless stipulated otherwise in the terms and conditions of Teatterihotelli Riihimäki, the MaRa ry general reservation and cancellation terms and conditions apply.
These reservation and cancellation terms and conditions only apply to reservations made on the hotel website.
