NEW: We are opening two new summer terraces in the center of Riihimäki in 2026
We have been waiting to announce this: we are opening not just one, but two new summer terraces in May 2026 in Hämeenaukio!
Come celebrate the opening of the terraces during the opening weekend: on May Day Eve we will open the terrace Mimosa and on May Day Day we will open the rooftop terrace Lanson lounge in connection with the May Day brunch.
Lanson lounge is completely new in Riihimäki: a rooftop terrace in the sunniest spot in the center! You can come to Lanson lounge to enjoy the sun, good food and refreshing summer new drinks. Lanson lounge on the 2nd floor of the hotel is open during the summer season on weekends (subject to weather conditions).
Named after the house champagne, the rooftop terrace also serves our signature champagne as a piccolo – perfect for those moments when you want something special.
In addition, Lanson lounge is open during breakfast every day during the summer season – non-accommodating customers are also welcome to the rooftop terrace breakfast!
The street level terrace Mimosa is located in Hämeenaukio in front of the hotel: the wonderful, sunny terrace is the perfect place to enjoy the sunny outdoors. The peaceful location, warm sunshine, refreshing drinks and summer delicacies from Teatterihotelli’s kitchen make a summer day the best it can be. Mimosa is open on weekends in May and every day in June and July (subject to weather conditions).
Mimosa terrace is the number one destination for all sun worshippers, where everyone is welcome, from babies to grandparents – also with pets!
