Welcome to the milonga on April 16, 2026!
The second Riihimilonga is a warm and low-threshold Argentine tango milonga, where beginners are always welcome. The most important thing is the joy of dancing, music and a shared moment together. Riihimilonga will be held at Teatterihotelli, 1st floor lobby.
DJ Jaana, one of Finland’s most experienced tango DJs, will be in charge of the music, bringing the classic tandas and clear rhythm of traditional Argentine tango to the milonga. It is easy to come to the place from further afield, as the hotel is located in the city center and is a short walk from the train station.
The hotel’s lobby bar will be open during the event. The dances start at 7 pm and last until 9:45 pm.
The event is organized by Tangoriihi’s Simo and Maria.
There is a voluntary milonga fee for dancers at their own discretion (recommended 5–10 euros). You are welcome to come even if you don’t dance!
